After receiving two prosthetic legs, Hunter had to deal with the question of what he would be able to do moving forward. Would he be able to play sports? Run? Compete?

Hunter’s doctor and the rest of the staff at Shriners Hospitals for Children not only provided the medical care he needed, but also helped give him the confidence he needed to pursue his passions.

He has since competed in the 2016 Paralympics, and we wish him all the best as he continues to work toward his goals.
